Tamara Hughes

Tamara Hughes is an experienced professional in content production and community management, currently serving as the Brand Content / Comms Production Manager at Rec Room since November 2017, where management of content production has led to a four-fold increase in campaign efficiency. Previously, Tamara established and managed a new events team for large in-game events, led Trust & Safety and Community Management teams, and oversaw community engagement initiatives. In addition to a freelance business in community management through MamamonkeyVR Inc., Tamara contributed as a volunteer in various roles with the 243 Tuscany Scouts, emphasizing program planning and inclusivity. Tamara holds a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Calgary.
