Bastian Wied

Bastian Wied serves as the Head of Quality Plant at RECARO Aircraft Seating since October 2011, leading an international team of 23 employees in a technical and disciplinary capacity. Responsibilities include supporting the sales department, managing modification projects, and overseeing corrective action and complaint management. Previous roles at RECARO include Teamleiter Engineering Customer Service and Module Engineer Electric, where technical project leadership, electric component integration, and project management were key focuses. Prior to joining RECARO, experience included work as Hardware and Product Engineer at ASAP Gruppe and Reliability & Development Engineer at Bertrandt Group. Bastian Wied holds a Diplom-Ingenieurin degree in Energy and Automation Engineering from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and a Geselle in Industrial Electronics from Ziehl-Abegg.
