Cheryl Nakamura

Cheryl Nakamura has a long history of software engineering experience. Cheryl began their career in 1999 as a Consultant for Orion Consulting, where they designed and developed two Intranet web applications. In 2003, they became a Team Lead/Senior Developer for Ingenium Technologies, where they were responsible for leading teams to architect, design, develop, and implement ASP.NET/VB.NET external client business critical web products. In 2005, they moved to Magenic Technologies Inc as a Senior Consultant, where they were responsible for using expertise to deliver technical solutions to clients. Cheryl then moved to GfK Custom Research North America in 2006, where they held the roles of Vice President, Business Intelligence and Sr Developer/Team Lead. In 2010, they joined Zepol Corporation as a Senior Full Stack Developer with BI Emphasis, where they architected and developed web based BI tool using ASP.NET/VB.NET, Jquery, and CSS. Cheryl then moved to Hollander in 2016 as a Senior Software Developer/Data Engineer, and is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Recast Software since 2020.

Cheryl Nakamura obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethel University, with a major in Psychology, Computer Science, and Music. Cheryl has also obtained certifications from Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), and Kimball University Data Warehousing In-Depth Training Completion. Additionally, they have obtained a certification from Code School for Shaping up with Angular.js.
