Recess
Prerana Reddy is an accomplished professional in the arts and community engagement sector with extensive experience in leadership and curatorial roles. Currently serving as an Arts & Community Fellow at Recess since October 2021, Reddy previously contributed as a Think Tank Member for both Creatives Rebuild New York and Creative Time, where participation focused on innovative cultural methodologies. Reddy's past positions include Director of Programs at A Blade of Grass, Director of Public Programs and Community Engagement at Queens Museum of Art, and Co-Director of the NY Arab & South Asian Film Festival. Reddy co-founded the 3rd i NY South Asian Film/Video Collective and held a board position at Alwan for the Arts. Educational credentials include an MA in Cinema Studies from New York University and a BS with Honors from Duke University in Cell & Molecular Biology, Chemistry, and Film & Video.
