Wikus du Toit's work experience includes:

- IT Support Technician at Luno from November 2018 to May 2019.

- Senior Technical Assistant - Computer Science and Informatics at the University of the Free State from May 2016 to October 2018.

Wikus du Toit has a solid educational background in IT management and project management. In 2022, they attended the University of Cape Town, focusing on IT management. Prior to that, in 2020, Wikus also studied project management at the University of Cape Town. Wikus further enhanced their knowledge in computer science by obtaining a CompTIA A+ certification from CTU Training Solutions in 2017. In the same year, they also obtained a CompTIA N+ certification in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the same institution. In 2012 and 2013, Wikus studied systems development at CTU Training Solutions. Additionally, they hold a B.Sc in IT-Management, obtained from the University of the Free State between 2010 and 2011. Throughout their educational journey, Wikus has also acquired several certifications including Jira Essentials from Atlassian in July 2022 and Project Management Foundations from the University of Cape Town in May 2020. Wikus also holds a National Certificate: Information Technology: Systems Development NQF Level 5 obtained in January 2013, and a Further Education and Training: Design Foundation NQF Level 4 obtained in January 2012.
