Jinwen Zou

Jinwen Zou has over a decade of experience in database engineering and management. Jinwen is currently working at Recharge as a Principal Engineer and Engineering Manager, where they are responsible for building and leading a collaborative database engineering team. Jinwen focuses on database scalability, availability, reliability, and performance and is involved in designing security and compliance measures. Prior to this, Jinwen worked at Upwork as a Principal Engineer and Data Infrastructure Manager, where they expanded the team's scope to include messaging platforms, search/indexing infrastructure, and data warehousing. Jinwen also led company-wide projects in AWS migration and data warehouse modernization. Before Upwork, Jinwen gained experience at eBay as an MTS2 Database Engineer, where they managed and standardized a large fleet of databases. Jinwen also worked at UNSW, Ausgrid, RailCorp, NSW Police, and Westpac in various database-related roles, showcasing their expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL administration.

Jinwen Zou attended Jilin University of Finance and Economics from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer/Information management and system.
