Teia Forcat

Teia Forcat has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Teia is currently an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Operations at the Universitat de Barcelona, a position they started in December 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at Recipharm, including Operations Director, Head of Global Lean Management, Production Director, Supply Chain Manager, Production Planner, and Project Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for various departments and functions, such as supply chain, manufacturing, maintenance, procurement, OPEX, and project management. Teia also worked as a Project Manager at Galenicum Health and as a Formulation Development Trainee at Grupo Ferrer Internacional. Teia started their career as a Galenical Development Scientist at Servicio Desarrollo del Medicamento.

Teia Forcat's education history includes a variety of academic achievements. In 2009, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the Universitat de Barcelona. Following that, from 2010 to 2012, Teia pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on the Pharmaceutical Industry, also at the Universitat de Barcelona. In 2013, they completed a Project Management program at EADA Business School. In 2015 and 2016, Teia pursued an Executive Master's degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management at EADA Business School. In 2020, they acquired a certification in Business Expert- Administración y Dirección de Empresas from thePower. Additionally, in the same year, they obtained a certification from thePower MBA. Currently, they are enrolled in the Program for Management Development at IESE Business School, with an expected completion date in 2023. Furthermore, Teia holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge.
