Wendy Whitfield

Wendy Whitfield has a comprehensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Wendy currently holds the position of Head of Regulatory Support at Recipharm since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Regulatory Affairs at Recipharm Development Services from 2020 to 2022.

Before joining Recipharm, Wendy worked at Aesica Pharmaceuticals Ltd as a Regulatory Affairs Manager from 2019 to 2020, and as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist from 2017 to 2019. Wendy also gained valuable experience at Piramal Pharma Solutions, where they served as a Regulatory Compliance Officer from 2014 to 2017 and as a QA Officer from 2012 to 2014.

Wendy started their career at Pfizer & Piramal Healthcare UK Limited as a Development Chemist from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, they worked as an APR Coordinator at Pfizer from 2006 to 2007, and as a QC Analyst at Pharmacia A/s from 2003 to 2006.

Wendy Whitfield obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Sunderland in 1996. Wendy further pursued their education at the same university and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2000.
