Scientist In Vivo Pharmacology at Recludix Pharma

Angelo Moreno has extensive experience in the field of science. Angelo began their career in 2008 as a Staff Research Associate and Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California San Diego, where they characterized biofilm formation in infectious Leptospira and developed improved molecular techniques to identify virulence factors in Leptospira. Angelo then went on to pursue a PhD at Duke University School of Medicine and Duke University from 2012-2019, where they obtained the first evidence of anti-PEG antibody mediated inhibition of a therapeutic PEGylated RNA aptamer and evaluated the potential anti-inflammatory properties of cationic polymers in several disease models. In 2019, they became a Field Application Scientist at BioLegend. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Recludix Pharma as a Scientist In Vivo Pharmacology.

Angelo Moreno completed a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Microbiology, General from UC San Diego between 2008 and 2012. Angelo also completed a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Microbiology and Immunology from UC San Diego during the same period. In 2012, they began their PhD in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at Duke University and graduated in 2019.
