Sheraan Amod has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sheraan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RecoMed, a technology-driven online healthcare booking platform and marketplace in South Africa. Sheraan launched RecoMed in 2013 and has successfully built it into the largest and fastest-growing platform of its kind in the country.

Sheraan Amod began their education in 1992 at Clifton Preparatory School, where they completed their primary education. Sheraan then moved on to Crawford College North Coast from 1999 to 2003 for their secondary education. In 2004, they joined the University of Cape Town and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, specializing in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Sheraan successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2007.

In 2007, Sheraan attended The New Anglo-American College in Prague where they obtained a certificate in Leadership. Afterward, they pursued further studies in Internet Governance at DiploFoundation in 2008, earning a certificate in the field.
