Tim Buonaccorsi

Tim Buonaccorsi manages RECON’s habitat restoration operations in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is a seasoned restoration ecologist and botanist with a proven track record in restoration planning, implementation, maintenance, and long-term monitoring. He has extensive experience performing invasive species management within sensitive habitat and preserve lands using various mechanical and spraying methods. Tim has a thorough knowledge of plant biology and specializes in restoring sensitive habitats including vernal pools, coastal sage scrub, chaparral, desert scrub, riparian woodlands, and native grasslands. Tim has a degree in botany and holds a California Qualified Applicator License and a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service permit to collect threatened and endangered vernal pool and upland plants species.
