Nick Hajime Rawkins

Nick Hajime Rawkins has a diverse and extensive work experience. Nick Hajime is the Founder/CEO of Reconome, a Tech recycling startup that refurbishes electronics for reuse by digitally excluded communities. Nick Hajime started this role in June 2018 and is currently still in this position.

Prior to Reconome, Nick was a Member of Helm (formerly The Supper Club) starting in October 2022.

Before their entrepreneurial venture, Nick worked at Citigroup from December 2011 to June 2017, holding roles in Fixed Income European Periphery Governments Trading, Asia Emerging Markets Credit Trading, and Samurai & Euroyen Credit Trading.

Nick also gained experience at Barclays Capital as a Summer Analyst in Global Markets in 2008.

Their career began at College Pro, where they served as a Franchise Manager from October 2005 to October 2006.

Nick Hajime Rawkins began their education at The Crescent School from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Diploma. Nick Hajime then attended the University of Toronto - Victoria University from 2005 to 2007, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Psychology. Nick then pursued further education at the Ivey Business School at Western University from 2007 to 2009, earning an HBA degree in Management/Finance. In 2009, they briefly attended HEC Paris, where they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration.
