Harvey Laud

Harvey was the CEO of Helistrat when it was acquired by Reconomy in 2018, taking up his current role as Divisional Director for Business and Industry shortly afterwards. He is responsible for the strategic development of this division, a key growth area for Reconomy, focusing on leveraging the full capabilities of the extended Reconomy group customer proposition.

Harvey spent almost 10 years at Helistrat driving business transformational projects and adding sustainable value for household brand names in the retail, manufacturing and facilities management sectors. With a focus on ‘designing out waste’ and introducing circular economy strategies, Harvey brings a deep understanding of the specific needs of Reconomy’s commercial customer base.

Prior to providing services to the retail sector with Helistrat, Harvey spent 20 years working within it. He held senior operational and leadership roles, including Retail Director at Somerfield and Regional Director at Alldays. For his efforts in driving the sustainable agenda at Helistrat, Harvey was recognised as one of Grant Thornton’s ‘Faces of a Vibrant Economy’ in 2018.
