Matt Nichols

Matt joined Reconomy in 2012 as Sales Director, bringing over 30 years experience in the Construction sector with major blue-chip companies. He has since taken up the role of Divisional Director for Construction, Infrastructure and Housebuilding. Matt has a wealth of sales and managerial experience, rising through the ranks at Newey and Eyre to Regional Director, he then became Business Development Director for the parent group, Hagemeyer UK.

Matt then spent 5 years at FTSE 100 company Wolseley UK as Business Development Director developing their sectorised sales strategy resulting in strong sales growth. Before joining Reconomy, he spent time at Unipart Automotive as Sales and Operations Director and Wilts Electrical Wholesale as Managing Director. In 2019, Matt was appointed as chair of the new Waste group run by the Supply Chain Sustainability School.
