Gustavo García Vázquez has a wealth of experience in the construction industry. From 2010 to 2012, they served as Superintendent at Nirva Construcciones, where they coordinated a 150-person construction team and acted as a certified safety inspector. In 2012, they were promoted to Corporate Construction Manager, where they negotiated with clients and led multidisciplinary teams to meet expectations. In 2015, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they were a consultant for the Construction Industry Institute and Turner Construction. In 2016, they were a Virtual Design & Construction Intern at Clark Construction Group, LLC and a Project Manager at Reconstruct Inc. In 2017, they became a Lecturer at Universidad Panamericana.
Gustavo García Vázquez received a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and Management from Universidad Panamericana in 2012 after studying there from 2007 to 2012. Gustavo then completed a student exchange program at Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Tarbes - ENIT in Civil Engineering from 2011 to 2012. From 2014 to 2016, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategy and Real Estate from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Master's Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the same university.
