Connie Long

Connie Long has extensive experience in event management and marketing. Connie is currently working as the Events Manager, Global Marketing at ReCor Medical. Prior to this, they worked as the Employee Engagement Program Manager for Facebook with EOS IT Solutions. In 2020, Connie worked as a Sr. Program Manager, Marketing Events at Workday. Connie had a long tenure at Illumina, where they served as the Sr. Event Manager, overseeing the management and execution of events and tradeshows. Connie also worked as the Marketing Events Specialist at NORCAL Mutual Insurance Company, where they successfully planned and implemented over 150 events annually. Before that, they were the Event and Meeting Specialist at Getinge, managing various events and campaigns. Connie's career began as a Sr. Project Manager at Applied Biosystems, where they handled multiple event and project plans, saving the company money through vendor negotiation.

Connie Long obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing Management from Brigham Young University - The Marriott School of Business in 1995. In addition, they received certifications in Healthcare Meeting Compliance (HMCC) from Meeting Professionals International in January 2017 and in Event Management from Cvent in June 2015.
