Kavita Kumari

Kavita Kumari has a diverse background in the healthcare industry. Kavita started their career at ICBio CRO as a Project Intern and project co-ordinator, where they provided front desk support to the clinical research department and reviewed informed consent documents. Kavita then worked at Vee Technologies as a medical coder, reviewing patient clinical notes, researching and analyzing treatments, and assigning alphanumeric codes to procedures with a high level of accuracy. Afterwards, Kavita joined emids as a Research Analyst, where they researched and edited US Medicaid manuals, worked on medical software, and helped build an ACE software for claim evaluation. Kavita then moved on to HGS as a Medical Record Reviewer Healthcare specialist, reviewing medical reports for proper documentation and over-payment cases. Currently, they are working at ReCor Medical as a Sr- Clinical Data Manager, responsible for managing clinical data and ensuring its accuracy.

Kavita Kumari completed their Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the School of Life Sciences, Manipal, from 2006 to 2009. Kavita then pursued an M.Sc degree in Biotechnology at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College from 2009 to 2011. During the same period, Kavita also completed a PG diploma in clinical research and clinical data management from ICBio Clinical Research Pvt. LTD. In 2013, they obtained a certification in CPC (Certified Professional Coder).
