Peng Gu

Peng Gu has an extensive work experience history that spans over two decades. PENG is currently the Head of Sales and Marketing at Recordati Rare Diseases Inc., a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Marketing at CSL Vifor, where they successfully built the marketing function from scratch and implemented innovative business models. Before that, they held various positions at Ansti-Alliance Pharmaceutical (China) Co., Ltd, including Director of Patient Centricity, Corporate & Business Strategy, Deputy Regional Sales Director & KA Director, Market Director of Urology & ID T.A., and Group Product Manager of ID & Circulation. During their time at Ansti-Alliance Pharmaceutical, they focused on developing patient-centric strategies, creating commercial models, and optimizing portfolio integration.

Before joining Ansti-Alliance Pharmaceutical, Peng Gu worked as a Senior Product Manager at Bayer Pharmaceuticals and as a Brand Manager at Novartis. PENG also gained experience as a Product Manager at Alfa Wassermann and as an Academic Specialist at Kyowa Kirin Co., Ltd. Additionally, they started their career as a Research Assistant at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Overall, Peng Gu has a diverse background with expertise in sales, marketing, business strategy, and product management.

Peng Gu's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Clinical Sciences/Graduate Medical Studies from Jilin University, which was obtained from 1995 to 2000. This was followed by ongoing education at Renmin University of China from 2004 to 2006, where Peng pursued studies in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In 2011, Peng briefly attended Creighton University for studies in the International English Language Institute (IELI), and then at the University of Nebraska at Omaha for studies related to International Professional Development (IPD).
