Margaret Fitzgerald started their work experience in 2019 at BitSight, where they initially served as a Third-Party Risk Management Consultant for two years until 2021. Following that role, they transitioned to becoming a Consulting Engineer for BitSight until 2022. In 2022, they joined Recorded Future as a Sales Engineer.
Margaret Fitzgerald's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Margaret also attended Northeastern University, where they studied Business Administration and Accounting. Prior to their college education, Margaret attended Williston Northampton School for their high school education.

Margaret has further enhanced their knowledge and skills in cybersecurity by completing the 210W-07 ICS Cybersecurity Vulnerabilities program offered by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Margaret has also received the TPRM Fundamentals Training certification from Shared Assessments and holds a completion certificate for the course "Ransomware: Identify, Protect, Detect, Recover" from (ISC)².
