Evan Solot

Evan Solot is an experienced composer and arranger with a robust freelance career spanning from 1975 to the present. Solot serves as a Professor and Department Head of Composition at the University of the Arts since 1967, and has been involved with the Philadelphia Theatre Company as an Orchestra Contractor and Supervisor since 2005, overseeing musicians for musicals. Additionally, Solot has been a composer for the American Composers Forum since 1998 and a long-standing member of The Recording Academy, where involvement includes serving as Governor and former Vice President. Solot also worked as an Orchestra Contractor and Supervisor at the Prince Music Theater from 1990 to 2009.
