Sliman Almuhamed

Sliman ALMUHAMED, PhD. Eng., currently serves as the R&D Global Director at Recover, leading initiatives in textiles mechanical recycling since October 2024. Previously, Sliman held the position of Industrial R&D Engineer at Decathlon France from April 2018 to September 2024, where notable achievements include the invention of six patents related to recyclable elastic filament and management of significant projects in textile recycling. Sliman's expertise in sustainability is demonstrated through extensive technical specifications development and life cycle assessment analysis. Educational contributions include teaching and supervising engineering students at various institutions in France and Syria. Sliman holds a PhD in Electrospinning of nanofibers from the University of Haute Alsace and multiple master’s degrees in textile engineering and eco-design.
