Hardy Schmidbauer

Hardy Schmidbauer serves as the General Manager at RecovR for Dealers since June 2020 and holds the position of Senior Vice President for IoT at Kudelski Group since April 2020. Prior to this, Hardy worked at Semtech from December 2018 to April 2020 as Senior Director of IoT Cloud and Services after co-founding TrackNet, which was acquired by Semtech, where Hardy served as CEO from November 2016 to December 2018. Hardy's notable achievements at Semtech include leading the wireless division, contributing to the formation of the LoRa Alliance, and significantly increasing company revenue. Earlier career roles include Marketing Manager at Silicon Laboratories and RF Design Manager at Integration Associates, where Hardy played a critical role in product development and customer acquisition. Hardy holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and dual degrees (BS, MS) in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University.
