Amy MacFarlane is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at Huron Rose Counselling since August 2023 and the Founder of Recreational Respite, established in April 2008, which focuses on engaging individuals facing barriers to community participation due to disability or mental illness. Additionally, MacFarlane has contributed as a Grief Therapist at Andrea Warnick Consulting and served as a Professor at Georgian College, instructing students in Entrepreneurship and Leadership. With a background in mentoring entrepreneurs and leading communications for Family Caregivers Unite!, MacFarlane has a history of impactful community involvement. MacFarlane's education includes a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Disability Studies from Ryerson University.
