John Wong

John (Joax) Wong currently serves as a Tech Recruitment Consultant and Business Development professional at Recruit Express Pte Ltd, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, John was a Junior Researcher at Singapore Management University from August 2020 to February 2023, where involvement included being a Research Lab Member at SMU DawnLab and working as an Independent Project Student under Dr. Andree Hartanto. John has presented research at notable conferences, such as the Society for Personality and Social Psychology in 2022 and the Singapore Research Awards in 2022. Additionally, John worked as a Psychology Researcher for the Ministry of Home Affairs Singapore from November 2021 to January 2022, contributing to an interdisciplinary project that utilized machine learning to analyze psychological constructs in text data. Findings from this project were submitted to the 5th Asian Conference of Criminal and Operations Psychology, and presentations were made to relevant behavioral sciences teams. John holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology with a second major in Business from Singapore Management University (2019-2023).
