Melissa Unsell-Smith

Melissa Unsell-Smith has a strong background in entrepreneurship and leadership. Melissa is currently serving as the President and Founding Member of Rectify, a company that specializes in automating privacy through secure AI redaction. Prior to this, Melissa was the Vice President and Founding Member of elumicor from 2000 to 2018.

In addition to their role at Rectify, Melissa is involved in various other business ventures. Melissa is the CEO of Catalytic Icon, an exclusive founder community that focuses on optimizing the pace of success for entrepreneurs. Melissa is also an Executive Member of Dreamers & Doers®, a position they have held since 2023. Furthermore, they serve as a Startup Mentor for GrowthMentor and Founder Institute Texas, where they bring their expertise to support and guide early-stage companies.

Melissa Unsell-Smith obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Texas at San Antonio between 1998 and 2004.
