Marcel Rocha

Marcel Rocha, MSc., is a seasoned professional in project engineering management with extensive experience in the solar power sector. Currently, as a Sr. Project Engineer EPC at Recurrent Energy, Marcel oversees the engineering management of solar power plants Jaíba Phase 3 and 4 (120 MW under construction) and Jaíba Phase 2 (40 MW in commercial operation). Previously held roles at Canadian Solar Inc. and CPFL Renováveis included coordinating and managing multiple utility-scale photovoltaic projects. Marcel's expertise encompasses renewable energy business development, project management, grid connection studies, and optimization of levelized cost of electricity (LCOE). With a solid educational background in electrical engineering and business administration, Marcel has consistently contributed to advancing solar technology and project execution within the Brazilian energy market.
