Christina Egbert

Christina Egbert, PhD, currently serves as Scientist III in Biology and Oncology at Recursion, having progressed through Scientist I and II roles within the company since October 2022. Prior to this, Christina held multiple positions at Brigham Young University from September 2017 to August 2022, including Roland K. Robins Research Fellow and PhD Candidate, and was a Research Fellow at the BYU Simmons Center for Cancer Research in 2021. Earlier experience includes teaching high school science and mathematics at American Leadership Academy from July 2015 to June 2017 and working as a Laboratory Technician at ADM in summer 2013. Christina earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, with a minor in Chemistry, from Southern Virginia University.
