Daniella Lato

Daniella Lato, PhD, is currently a Data Scientist at Recursion, with prior experience as a Computational Scientist on the Machine Learning Team at Cyclica and as a Research Fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children, focusing on 3D chromosome organization in relation to disease. Daniella has an extensive background in academia, holding multiple teaching positions at McMaster University, including tutorials and lectures in Bioinformatics, Genetics, and Differential Equations. Daniella's research has been presented at various prestigious conferences, including the Society for Molecular Biology and Evolution and the Intelligent Systems for Molecular Biology, highlighting expertise in bacterial genome trends.
