Alex Pollard

Alex Pollard has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They worked as the Director of Customer Solutions at Recurve, where they were responsible for implementing data-driven decision-making for meter-based demand side management programs. Prior to that, they served as the Customer Solutions Manager at the same company. Alex also worked as a Principal at StrongWall Group, a boutique consulting firm focused on energy efficiency, real estate development, and agriculture. At the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, they held the position of Energy Efficiency Commercial Programs Manager, overseeing utility program spending and implementing market-based solutions. They also chaired the ULI Boston Sustainability Council, promoting sustainable real estate practices. Alex has a background in construction management as well, having worked as a Contracts Manager at Coast and Harbor Associates. They hold a Master of Real Estate Development degree from Arizona State University and founded their own company, StrongWall Group, where they developed project management systems for real estate service providers. Additionally, Alex has experience in real estate development project management, having successfully completed a multifamily residential project. They started their career as an Assistant Project Manager at The Saint Consulting Group, specializing in securing permits for real estate developers. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Producer at Loci.com, a subsidiary of Student Advantage.

Alex Pollard has a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from Boston University, which was obtained from 1995 to 1999. In 2008, Alex obtained a Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) degree from Arizona State University. In the same year, they also received the LEED AP Building Design + Construction certification from the Green Building Certification Institute. Alex pursued further education by taking classes towards a Certificate in Managing Construction Projects at the Wentworth Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management Certificate from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2013. They are also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from The Project Management Institute (PMI).
