Clay Schumacher has extensive experience as a software engineer, with a focus on mobile development. Clay is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Recycle Track Systems since August 2021. Prior to this, they founded Square Ninety in July 2017 and served as the Founder until August 2021.
From June 2012 to July 2017, Schumacher worked at Innovative Software Engineering as a Senior Software Engineer - Mobile. In this role, they served as the ISE Mobile Development Practice Lead and was responsible for product ownership and development on native iOS and Android projects. Clay also served as a technical lead and developer on an Android development team and worked as a developer and Scrum Master on a project developing an iOS application connected to a C++ WinCE data service.
Before joining Innovative Software Engineering, Schumacher worked at Rockwell Collins from January 2009 to June 2012. Clay started as an Engineering Co-op and later became a Software Engineer. Clay led software teams in the development, implementation, integration, and testing of C# .NET and C++ software. Clay also played a major role in developing software unit testing using LDRA Testbed/Tbrun.
Additionally, Schumacher worked as a CS Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University from August 2006 to December 2008.
Clay Schumacher attended Prairie High School from 2000 to 2004. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, from 2004 to 2008.
