Matheus Kelson is a Circular Packaging Researcher at Recyda GmbH since January 2022, with prior experience as a Research Associate at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau, where analytic categories were developed regarding the governance of illegal extraction of natural resources, particularly illegal logging. Matheus served as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer IAO, contributing to the Morgenstadt Initiative’s UNALAB project, focusing on Nature-Based Solutions in European cities. With project management expertise as a National Specialist at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Matheus specialized in climate change mitigation policies and climate finance. Initial experience as a Junior Consultant at CETESB involved supporting São Paulo’s climate policy and revising the state’s greenhouse gas inventory.
