Joe Burgard

Joe Burgard has diverse work experience in various industries. Joe began their career at Skyline College as an Adjunct Instructor in 1998. In the same year, they also became the Head Taekwondo Instructor for the Adults Program at UCSF. In 1987, they joined Hornblower as a Captain/Operations Manager, where they worked until 1999. Joe then transitioned to Red and White Fleet, where they held multiple roles, including Vice President of Operations from 1999 to 2018. Joe served as President from 2019 onwards, providing organizational leadership, business development, and project management. In 2018, Joe co-founded Golden Gate Zero Emission Marine and currently serves as a Board Member, contributing their expertise in vessel operations and zero emission solutions.

Joe Burgard earned a BA in English Literature from UC Irvine in 1990. Joe later obtained an MA in English Literature, Composition & Education from San Francisco State University between 1992 and 1994. There is no further information available about their education from the University of California, San Francisco or CTI.
