Iain Shields

Iain Shields is an experienced professional who has worked in the broadcast media industry for many years. Currently serving as the Head of Broadcast Media Solutions and Platforms at Red Bee Media, Iain is responsible for product development and implementation of software-only IP Playout services. Prior to this role, Iain held positions as a Technical Product Manager and Principal Broadcast Engineer, where Iain led technical projects for the migration of channels to virtual environments and new automation platforms. With a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Queen Mary University of London, Iain's expertise in broadcast systems engineering has been demonstrated through their work at Ericsson and Red Bee Media.
