Shahqaan Qasim

Shahqaan Qasim has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Shahqaan started their career as a Teacher at bloomfield hall school in 2008 and then worked as a Legal Support Executive at ParaDocs Motion Support. In 2010, they took on a role as a Software Development Internee at Brainstorm Private Limited.

In 2013, they joined Red Buffer as a Senior Software Engineer, where they exclusively worked with their client, Townsquared, a social networking platform for small businesses. After that, in 2015, they became a Senior Software Engineer at CareAxiom, a healthcare startup focused on improving EHR for senior living.

In 2016, Shahqaan became the Head of Engineering at OneByte LLC, overseeing and scaling all engineering efforts. Shahqaan built the Web Team from scratch and grew the team from 10 to 25 engineers within a year.

Currently, Shahqaan is the VP of Engineering at Red Buffer, a software services company with 40+ engineers. Shahqaan'sresponsibilities include overseeing and scaling all engineering efforts, developing processes, and bridging communication gaps between clients, sales, and engineering teams. Shahqaan also works with product managers to create scope for engineering efforts and manages communications and blockers between stakeholders and engineers. Shahqaan oversees a diverse tech stack that includes ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS, Python, Serverless, Microservices architecture, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP, React Native, iOS, and Android.

Shahqaan Qasim attended University College Lahore from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued A' Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. In 2008, they enrolled at NUST School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, completing their Bachelor's degree in Information Technology in 2013.
