Kevin Fylan has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Kevin started their career as a Sub-editor at PA Sport in 1994 and worked there until 1997. Kevin then worked as a Sports Corro in Spain for Thomson Reuters from 1998 to 2004, reporting on Spanish sports and also contributing to coverage for Euro 2004 in Lisbon. From 2004 to 2008, Kevin worked as a Sports Corro in Germany for Thomson Reuters. In 2008, they became the Editor in Charge of Sports Production at Thomson Reuters until 2011. Kevin then joined Volvo Ocean Race as the Editor in Charge from 2011 to 2013. Kevin later became the Editor in Chief of Redbull.com at Red Bull Media House from 2013 to 2015. Following this, they worked as a Creative at HeadCandy S.L.U. from 2015 to 2017, where they focused on storytelling and ran content for Volvo Ocean Race and Red Bull Media House. Kevin then returned to Red Bull Media House as the Head of News and Media Services in 2017 and currently holds the position of Head of Editorial and Audio, Media Network since October 2019.
Kevin Fylan has a Master's degree in Viking Studies from the University of the Highlands and Islands. Kevin also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English language and literature from the University of Leeds, which they completed between 1989 and 1992.
