Matthew Simmons

Matthew Simmons is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in sports and media relations. Currently serving as Senior Communications Manager at Red Bull Media House since January 2019, Matthew leads communications initiatives for the Deep South region, focusing on content production, influencer marketing, and public relations to support marketing objectives. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions at Golin, managing media relations for Toyota's NASCAR and Olympic programs, and at BurnsGroup Unlimited, overseeing communications for SRT Motorsports and the championship-winning Dodge Viper race team. Matthew's earlier experience includes roles at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Georgia State University, where skills in public relations and communications were further developed. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Sports Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Print Journalism from Georgia State University.
