Yuri Serov

Equity Analyst (Sell-Side), Global Building Materials at Redburn

Yuri Serov has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Yuri began their career at PepsiCo, where they worked as an Accountant, then advanced to the role of Financial Analyst and eventually became a Financial Manager for a fast food venture. After their time at PepsiCo, Yuri joined Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate and later became a Senior Associate/Manager in Management Consulting. Yuri then transitioned to AllianceBernstein, where they worked as an Equity Analyst in the European Building Materials, Construction, and Housing sector. Following their role at AllianceBernstein, Yuri joined Finisterre Capital as an Equity Analyst, specializing in Macro Strategies and Global Emerging Markets. Their next move was to Morgan Stanley, where they worked as an Equity Analyst in the Global Building Materials sector. Yuri's next career move was to CRH, where they held two roles consecutively: Strategy Director, focusing on Strategy, Economics, and M&A, and then as VP of Finance & Strategy, responsible for Investors, Global Markets, and ESG. Most recently, Yuri joined Redburn as an Equity Analyst, covering the Global Building Materials sector.

Yuri Serov has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Harvard Business School, which they obtained in 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT) in 1995.
