Daniel Croft

Daniel Croft is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering management, currently serving as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Red Canary since May 2024. Prior to this role, Daniel held various key positions at GitLab, including Director of Engineering Productivity and Director of Incubation Engineering, where responsibilities included coordinating cross-functional teams, setting performance metrics, and fostering innovation initiatives. With a background in managing large engineering teams at organizations such as SOCi, Inc., SimpleReach, and TRAFFIQ, Daniel has demonstrated a strong ability to build high-performing teams and deliver on strategic goals. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of New England, a Diploma in Information Technology from the Brisbane Institute of TAFE, and a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Asian Studies from Griffith University.
