Genene Morris

Genene Morris, MS has a diverse work experience in the field of writing and communications. Genene started as the Director of Communications at NJ Division of Consumer Affairs in 2002 and held the position until 2006. From 2007 to 2010, they served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at UMDNJ -- New Jersey Medical School. Genene then joined Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2013, where they worked as the Senior Marketing and Communications Coordinator until 2014 and later transitioned to the role of Marketing and Communications Specialist until 2016. From 2016 to 2022, they worked as a Freelance Writer, offering professional writing and editing services. Their most recent position is with Red Cell Partners, where they started in 2023 as the Associate Editorial Director and was promoted to Editorial Director in 2024.

Genene Morris, MS holds a Master of Science degree in Communications from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, which they completed in 2022. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Connecticut, which they completed in 1992.
