Yisroel Brumer has had a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Yisroel is currently the President of Red Cell Partners, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and Partner at Red Cell Partners from September 2020 to April 2022.

Yisroel is also the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DEFCON AI, a company they co-founded in February 2022. Yisroel also served as the Deputy Director (Analysis and Innovation) from April 2017 to April 2018, Director of Strategic, Defensive, and Space Programs from February 2012 to April 2017, Director of Program Analysis Division from December 2011 to February 2012, and Operations Research Analyst from November 2005 to December 2011.

Earlier in their career, they worked at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as an AAAS Homeland Security Fellow from September 2004 to November 2005. Yisroel also had research roles at Harvard University, starting as a Graduate Student Researcher from September 1999 to May 2003 and later as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist from June 2003 to September 2004.

Yisroel Brumer completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology at the University of Toronto from 1995 to 1999. Yisroel then pursued a Master's degree in Chemistry at Harvard University from 1999 to 2001. Lastly, they obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Harvard University in 2003.
