Jahir Anicama Diaz is a seasoned consultant and professor with extensive experience in climate change evaluations and strategies across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a consultant at the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre, Jahir supports climate risk assessments and contributes to the development of multi-year climate strategies for national societies in Latin America. Additional roles include consulting for various institutions, such as the Instituto Geofísico del Perú and the United Nations Development Programme (PNUD), focusing on scientific knowledge management and climate change communication. With a solid academic background, including a Master's degree in Agriculture Science from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and veterinary training from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Jahir also teaches climate change-related courses at Universidad Científica del Sur and Universidad Antonio Ruiz de Montoya.
