Brett Rogers has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Brett started their career at LexisNexis as a Senior Template Developer, where they worked from January 2001 to August 2004. Brett then transitioned to the role of Software Support Engineer at LexisNexis from August 2004 to April 2005.

Following their time at LexisNexis, Rogers founded their own company called noxad in 2004. As the Owner and Software Engineer, they focused on building websites for small businesses and individuals, specializing in custom WordPress implementations. Brett worked on various projects involving PHP, CSS, and e-commerce sites. Brett continued this entrepreneurial endeavor until 2017.

In 2005, Rogers joined Service Repair Solutions as a Software Engineer in Test. Brett later transitioned to the role of Software Engineer / Team Lead, where they developed a source code generator in C# and designed a database schema. Brett also held the position of Senior Software Architect, releasing the first EDGE Beta Widget.

Rogers then took on the role of Director of Development at Service Repair Solutions. This hybrid management position comprised multiple roles, including Developer Manager, Architect, and Product Manager. Brett managed teams and developed web-based applications, provided technical direction, and made UI design decisions. Brett also collaborated with other teams for cross-project integration.

In 2013, Rogers joined Red Dog Media as the VP of Technology. In this role, they oversaw the technical infrastructure of the company, including servers, websites, and internal tools. Brett managed a team of developers and was responsible for project prioritization, specification, and allocation.

Additionally, Rogers volunteered at The Emily Effect, a non-profit foundation, where they served as a Technical Consultant and Website Administrator. Brett helped maintain the foundation's website, added new content, and implemented store functionality.
