David Jones began their work experience in 2001 as a Sales Assistant at The Co-operative Group, where they worked part-time while studying at college. David continued their part-time work as a Sales Assistant at Sainsbury's from 2006 to 2009 while pursuing their degree. In 2009, they joined 2Evolve Pty Ltd as a Programs Manager, leading the establishment of a new call centre in Auckland, New Zealand. David then worked at AXA as a Help Team Member from 2011-2011, where they developed skills in customer service and insurance. David's most recent role was as the Head of Instructor and Franchise Recruitment at RED Driving School, starting in 2012, where they successfully increased training course and franchise membership through their leadership and commitment to the company's core values.

David Jones attended Stokesley Comprehensive School from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained their secondary education. After completing high school, they enrolled at the Cleveland College of Art and Design from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued a BTec in Media: Moving Image and A level Photography. Following this, they attended the University of Sunderland from 2006 to 2009, where they completed a BA (Hons) in Photography. In addition to their formal education, David also holds a certification in Emergency First Aid at Work, although the institution and exact timeframe of obtaining this certification are unknown.
