Laura González

Laura González has a diverse work experience, with roles in various companies and sectors. Laura started their career as an IT Researcher and Consultant at the Grupo de Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones. After that, they worked as an IT Project Manager, Responsible for Systems Engineering and IT Consultant at ENRED Consultores S.L. Laura then became a Senior Consultant in the Telecommunications Sector at Price Waterhouse Coopers Consulting.

In 2002, Laura became the Technology and Systems Master Professor at Escuela de Finanzas BBVA, and later held the role of Innovation, Technology and Development Manager at Fundación Iberoamérica Europa. Centro de Investigación Promoción y Cooperación Internacional.

In 2003, Laura founded their own company, Atalum Wireless S.A., where they worked as the Founder and Responsible for Product Development.

Later on, Laura joined Red.es, where they held various positions including eGovernment & Justice Project Coordinator, eGovernment & Justice Senior Programme Manager, and finally Deputy Assistant Director of Digital Public Services. Laura'swork at Red.es focused on strategic planning and executive management in eGovernment and Justice areas, stakeholder management, and technical advisory in ICT and services.

Laura González completed their education in the field of telecommunications. Laura acquired a master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering with a specialization in Communication and Transmission from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they studied from 1991 to 1998. In 2005 to 2006, they pursued an additional degree as an expert in Telecommunications Economy from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. Lastly, in 2009, Laura attended IE Business School where they obtained an Executive Master in Telecom & Digital Business, which lasted for 160 hours.
