Jonathan Timmis Obe

Jonathan Timmis OBE currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Red Kite Learning Trust and Trustee at The Borgen Project. In addition, Jonathan provides mentorship at the Forces Employment Charity and is a member of the Board of Trustees for The Education Alliance. Previously, Jonathan held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Astrea Academy Trust, overseeing operational services across 27 schools. Jonathan's extensive military career includes roles as Senior Army Officer and Deputy Chief of Staff for the 1st (United Kingdom) Division, as well as Commanding Officer of the 3 Logistic Support Regiment RLC, and Chief Mentor at the Afghan National Army Officers’ Academy. Jonathan's educational background includes advanced degrees in Strategy and Leadership from the Royal College of Defence Studies and Defence from Cranfield University, among others.
