Timothy Smith, Ed.D., CETL has extensive experience in the field of education and technology integration. Timothy began their career in 1999 as a Social Studies Teacher at Red Lion Area School District, where they later served as an Assistant Elementary Principal and Assistant Principal. In 2016, they were promoted to the role of Supervisor of Instructional Practice & Technology Integration, where they played a key role in implementing technology-based educational initiatives. In April 2022, Timothy became the Director of Information Technology Services at Red Lion Area School District, overseeing the district's technology infrastructure and operations.

Timothy Smith, Ed.D., CETL has an extensive education history. Timothy began their educational journey at West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Social Studies Teacher Education.

Timothy then pursued a Master of Science degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Wilkes University, completing it from 2004 to 2008. Following this, Timothy attended McDaniel College from 2008 to 2009, earning a K-12 Administrative Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration, General.

In 2014, they enrolled at Temple University College of Education and Human Development, specializing in Instructional Technology.

Recently, Timothy has been working towards a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at Point Park University, which they expect to complete in 2023.

Timothy Smith has also obtained additional certifications. In 2015, they became a Google for Education Certified Trainer, certified by Google. Additionally, in 2020, they earned the Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) certification from the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN).
