Paras Jatkar

Paras Jatkar is an accomplished software engineering manager and IoT architect with extensive expertise in implementing IoT architecture and industrial automation technologies. Currently at Red Lion Controls since September 2022, Paras specializes in machine-to-machine communication, development of IoT gateways, and protocol research, utilizing tools and platforms such as OPC UA, MQTT, and Microsoft Azure IoT services. Previous roles include Senior Technical Lead and IoT Specialist at Johnson Controls, focused on building automation, and IoT Specialist R&D at Hitachi. With a strong background in developing multi-threaded software applications for industrial automation at Honeywell Technology Solutions Lab, Paras also has experience in automotive software development. An educational foundation in computer science includes a Post Graduate Diploma from CDAC, an MS from Manipal Academy, and a Bachelor's degree from Wadia College Pune.
