Dori Simeonov

Dori Simeonov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2011, they worked as a Project Manager at ICES. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Policy Analyst at the Health Council of Canada, where they evaluated the Health Innovation Portal and represented the organization at conferences. In the same period, they also worked as a Policy Analyst at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario Division, providing policy advice and monitoring trends in mental health and criminal justice policies. In 2015, they joined the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health as a Knowledge Broker, leading knowledge exchange activities and supporting regional knowledge brokers. Dori then moved to AGE-WELL NCE INC in 2017, where they held the role of Senior Manager - Policy & Knowledge Mobilization. In this position, they strategically planned the organization's transition and sustainability, managed direct reports, led cross-sector collaborations, and built partnerships with policy and government partners. Currently, they are working as an Operations Officer at Art the Science. In 2022, Dori also joined Red Nucleus as an Associate Director, Medical Content.

Dori Simeonov holds a Master of Science degree in Health Services Research, Health Policy, and Health Research Methodology from McMaster University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Health Sciences Honours Degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology from the same university.

In addition to their formal education, Dori has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Dori completed courses on Developing Assertive Leadership, Thinking Creatively, Writing a Business Case, and Communicating with Executives through LinkedIn. Dori also received certifications in Building Resilience and Cultivating a Growth Mindset from LinkedIn in September 2022. Moreover, Dori acquired certificates in The Foundations of Implementation, Spread, and Scale as well as Designing for Implementation from The Center for Implementation in June 2021 and January 2021 respectively.
