Katherine Crandell

Katherine Crandell currently serves as a Strategy, Planning, & Business Development Consultant at Northwestern Medicine since June 2023. Previously, Katherine held the position of Planning Analyst at Edward-Elmhurst Health from June 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities included analyzing internal and external data to support strategic planning and serving as a subject matter expert on various data sources. Katherine also worked as a Text Annotator at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from January 2020 to May 2021, contributing to a research project focused on clinical empathy in narrative essays. Earlier experience includes an internship at Edward-Elmhurst Health in the planning department during the summer of 2020, where collaboration on projects related to diverse topics and tracking Covid-19 data were key responsibilities. Katherine earned a degree in Community Health with a focus on Health Administration and Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2021, following education at Libertyville High School from 2013 to 2017.
