Dr. Ed Shifflett, PhD, has an extensive work experience spanning several companies. Ed currently holds the position of EVP Strategic Account Development at Red Nucleus since December 2022. Prior to that, Dr. Shifflett was the Co-Owner of AlphaGroup Medical Communications from 2005 until 2022. Ed also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Illinois at Chicago from August 2004 to August 2005.
Ed Shifflett, PhD, obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Ed then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Exercise Physiology at Virginia Tech from 1996 to 1998. Continuing their academic journey, they earned a PhD in Gastrointestinal Physiology from North Carolina State University, completing their studies from 2001 to 2004.
